Define the rectangular base and fin envelope
The retained product example shows a broad rectangular contact face with thin parallel fins below it. Specify the contact-face dimensions, base thickness, fin geometry and cut length in the part drawing.
For a custom 6063 aluminum extrusion enquiry, identify the required temper and subsequent machining operations. Mark the surfaces where fit, flatness or finish is critical and state the required tolerances for those features.
Design information for review
Include the heat-source interface, mounting method, space constraints and airflow conditions. Provide the thermal design requirement, quantities and finish specification so the section can be assessed for the intended installation.
