A wide base with closely spaced fins
The sample shows a broad rectangular base and a repeated row of thin parallel fins. A custom heat sink enquiry should define the base thickness, fin height and spacing, overall width and cut length.
For a 6061 or 6063 aluminum extrusion enquiry, state the selected alloy and temper, including T5 where required. Specify the section by drawing and identify any cut-to-length or secondary-machining requirements. The sample image does not identify its alloy or heat-treatment condition.
Include the thermal installation
Describe the heat-source contact area, mounting method, available space and airflow conditions. Add the thermal design requirement and finish specification so the profile can be evaluated for the intended assembly. Mark any critical base-face or mounting dimensions for inspection.
