Finned housing with machined end interfaces
This custom CNC machining enquiry concerns an aluminum power supply housing. The illustrated part has longitudinal fins, a shaped end opening and fixing holes on its visible faces. The extrusion section and the machined features should be defined together on the housing drawing.
Provide the functional interfaces
- Show the internal envelope, end opening and required finished length.
- Locate mounting holes and identify any threads, pockets or fitted faces.
- Include mating-component details where they control clearance or installation.
The product material is listed as 6063 aluminum alloy, with CNC milling and other machining services available. State the required temper and dimensional acceptance for the ordered housing. Broad material capabilities listed elsewhere do not mean every pictured part is supplied in each metal.
Anodized, oxide and powder-coated surface options can be reviewed for the required finish. Supply color, masking instructions, quantities and drawing revision. Electrical performance, enclosure protection and heat dissipation requirements must be specified for the assembly; no such rating is established by the housing photograph.
