Define the oval shell separately from a completed electronic product. The red and white example has a large rectangular front region and a smaller rounded opening below it. Those details identify the visible form, but do not establish ABS chemistry, installed electronics or a sealed assembly.
Relate the front regions to the shell perimeter
Provide sections showing which regions are open, recessed or formed as part of the wall. Locate fixing and mating surfaces from assembly datums and identify adjoining components. State whether the delivery includes one shell, another mating half, inserts or hardware rather than assuming the image defines a complete enclosure.
- Identify the oval shell and controlled drawing revision.
- Dimension front regions, perimeter and mating contacts.
- Select the actual ABS grade and condition.
- Define color arrangement and required matt appearance.
- Agree shell inspection and assembly acceptance evidence.
Specify material and the molding scope
ABS is the primary service direction; other listed polymers require separate grade selections. Define the actual formulation, material records and delivered condition for the chosen component. Specify any cutting or painting independently, with masking and appearance criteria where relevant. Different surface colors do not establish the construction beneath them.
Accept the enclosure component for its intended use
Mark tolerances with units and final measurement conditions at working interfaces. Any sealing, electrical, mechanical or environmental requirement needs actual service conditions and applicable tests. A shell photograph alone establishes no ingress-protection level, current certification or installed compatibility.
Include quantities, controlled geometry and requested documentation. Keep component-only supply distinct from any separately specified electronics or complete product assembly.
