Use the large rectangular opening to define this custom plastic frame request. The dark example has internal ribs, circular bosses and projecting edge or corner features. Those details identify the visible component, while actual resin grade, dimensions and mounting compatibility require a controlled drawing and assembly definition.
Locate the opening and fixing bosses
Provide the frame section and perimeter geometry, with boss positions referenced to functional datums. Identify adjoining components and the surfaces controlling contact or clearance. Define any threads, inserts or fasteners separately, including whether they form part of the supplied frame or are installed elsewhere.
Select ABS and the molding requirements
ABS is the primary material direction for this enquiry; PA66, PP or PC require their own grade selections if requested. Specify the actual formulation, condition and required matt appearance. A dark surface does not independently establish resin chemistry, tooling ownership or a particular molding capability.
Inspect the frame against its assembly drawing
Mark dimensional tolerances with units, datums and final measurement conditions. Define mechanical or environmental acceptance requirements where the frame supports or locates other components. A generic tolerance reference is insufficient to establish fit or allowable loading across every feature.
- Reference the rectangular frame and drawing revision.
- Dimension the opening, ribs and fixing bosses.
- Select actual resin grade and required condition.
- Specify finish and any supplied inserts.
- Agree interface inspection and material records.
Include PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP geometry, quantities and requested documentation. Keep the component schedule aligned with the actual mounting arrangement so the quotation covers a defined molded frame rather than an assumed complete assembly or an unverified performance rating.
