Use the two long slots and mounting bosses to define this plastic panel request. The green example has a rectangular outline, raised ribs and cylindrical fixing regions visible on one side. Its appearance provides a geometry reference, while actual dimensions and resin formulation require a controlled component specification.
Locate the slots from the fixing bosses
Show panel sections and the relationship between each opening, rib and mounting location. Define the adjoining components and the contact or clearance surfaces that control installation. Specify any inserts, threads or fasteners separately, including whether they are part of the molded-panel delivery.
Specify the exact polymer and molding condition
ABS, PA, PP and PC are separate material directions. Identify the actual grade, including the particular polyamide formulation where PA is selected, and provide required material documentation. Choose the color reference, matt appearance and any secondary cutting or painting without assuming that all listed operations apply.
- Identify the slotted panel and actual dimensions.
- Locate bosses, ribs and slots from datums.
- Select exact resin grade and required condition.
- Define appearance and any supplied inserts.
- Agree fit inspection and acceptance records.
Express precision through drawing requirements
Mark tolerances with units and final measurement conditions at the mounting interfaces. A small-part description does not establish a numerical size threshold or a universal molding capability. Mechanical, environmental or compliance requirements need actual service conditions and applicable evidence for the selected material and design.
Include quantities, drawing revision and the requested inspection documents. Keep any differing panel configurations separately identified so the proposed molding scope can be compared against the intended assembly.
