Define the curved button cap separately from a complete automotive switch. The four black examples carry white window-shaped symbols and different surface or symbol arrangements. They provide a visible form reference, but do not establish electronics inclusion, vehicle compatibility, resin chemistry or the composition of a rubber-painted surface.
Relate the cap to the switch interface
Provide cap sections, underside mounting details and the mating component drawing. Identify symbol position, orientation and the visible surfaces used for appearance acceptance. Where several cap variants are required, assign individual drawings and quantities instead of assuming the pictured group forms one interchangeable set.
Specify ABS and the rubber-painting scope
Select the actual ABS grade or a separately agreed alternative resin. Define the required molding condition, color, matt appearance and any rubber-painting system. Specify masking, adhesion or wear requirements where applicable, with a suitable acceptance method rather than inferring durability from a black surface.
- Identify each button-cap geometry and symbol.
- Provide the mating switch and underside interfaces.
- Select resin grade and molded condition.
- Define rubber painting and appearance criteria.
- Agree fit, functional and finish acceptance checks.
Set automotive-project evidence requirements
Provide actual service conditions and any applicable component qualification requirements. A symbol or automotive product name does not demonstrate vehicle fit, electrical approval or completed durability testing. Drawing tolerances need defined units, datums and measurement conditions.
Include PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP geometry, quantities and requested inspection records. Keep the delivery scope explicit if the order concerns caps alone rather than switches, electronics or a complete control assembly.
