Parallel fins with an extended base
The example has a long row of thin fins on a flat base extending beyond the fin field. Define the base outline, mounting areas and fin envelope together, with any holes or secondary features needed for installation.
For an aluminum extrusion enquiry, provide the alloy, temper, section drawing and cut length. If the design specifically requires a skived-fin manufacturing route, identify that requirement separately for review; a photograph does not establish how the fins were formed.
Define the working conditions
Include the heat-source contact area, mounting arrangement, available airflow and thermal design requirement. State the finish, quantities and inspection dimensions for the part drawing.
