Arched underside and hollow edge sections
This aluminum profile has a curved open underside, broad upper faces and hollow sections along its edges. Fixing holes are visible in the upper and side faces. For a custom industrial extrusion, the curved contour and the hole locations should be defined relative to the same mating component.
Provide the cross-section, finished length and required contact areas. Identify which portions of the curved face establish fit and where clearance is needed. Include the hole sizes and locations, plus any end features or secondary machining.
Manufacturing inputs for the finished profile
6063 and 6061 are listed aluminum options, with CNC machining available. State the selected alloy, temper and the dimensions requiring inspection. Include the mating geometry when the profile must be checked as part of an assembly.
Anodizing, oxide finishing and powder coating can be considered for the required color and surface condition. Mark contact faces or holes that require masking. Submit the drawing revision and quantity so the proposed operations, inspection criteria and finished supply condition can be reviewed together.
