Define the finned enclosure section and the assembly parts required by the order. The example is a dark box-like profile with a large circular through-opening and parallel external ribs or fins. Its appearance does not establish a particular insert, motor or fluid function, or a complete protected enclosure.

Dimension the opening and outer profile

Provide the circular opening and its position relative to the outer walls, fin field and mounting references. Include the adjoining component where it controls fit or the contact arrangement. Specify the cut length and identify holes, ends or other surfaces requiring machining.

The enclosure-box and heat-sink names are starting directions for the enquiry, not a complete assembly drawing. State whether the supply includes end closures, fixing parts or only the profile body. No sealing, pressure or cooling rating is established by the example.

Select the actual material and finish

  • Choose the actual 6061 or 6063 alloy and temper.
  • Provide the opening, profile and mounting drawing.
  • Identify the included closures or assembly components.
  • Mark machining, finish and fit-sensitive surfaces.
  • Define inspection in the final supplied condition.

Agree the profile-manufacturing and secondary-work route for the selected design. Historical T-profile and sand-casting fields do not define the actual circular-opening component. Assign limits to the features that control assembly instead of treating ±1% as a universal tolerance. State required dimensions and weight independently of an option label.

State the environment and duty requirements

Provide the actual installation and any environmental, contact or thermal conditions relevant to selection. If heat-sink performance is required, define heat load, ambient, airflow and the criteria by which the installed component will be assessed. If enclosure protection matters, provide the complete closure design and applicable acceptance requirements. Confirm quantities and documentation for the actual order. A usable enquiry links one profile section and supplied assembly scope to clear material, finish and inspection records without inferring a finished function from the large circular opening.

Please include the drawing revision, material specification, quantity, critical dimensions, finish and inspection documents needed for your part. Tooling, samples, delivery and any return or remedy arrangements are subject to the agreed order terms.
