Start with the LED contact face and cooling space
The examples show rectangular finned sections, including a broad flat face on the lower component. Identify the face that contacts the LED assembly and dimension its outline, flatness requirement and fixing points independently of the fin envelope.
For a custom aluminum profile enquiry, specify the alloy, temper and length. State whether extrusion or a specifically required skived-fin route is to be reviewed, with the fin dimensions and secondary-machining details.
Define the operating conditions
Include the LED heat-source layout, mounting arrangement and available airflow. Provide the required thermal performance and finish, together with quantities and inspection requirements. The photographs do not establish an LED power rating.
