Define the bore and end interfaces together
The illustrated housing has a large circular bore, end-face fixing holes and longitudinal features around the outside. For a motor-housing enquiry, show the mating motor components and dimension the bore and end interfaces from the assembly references.

- Specify the aluminum alloy, temper, external section and cut length.
- Machining
- Define the bore condition, end faces, mounting holes and any features requiring secondary operations.
Include fit tolerances, required finish and quantities. State any thermal, electrical or environmental requirements that apply to the actual motor assembly, with the current part drawing and revision.
