Define the mounting component separately from a complete handheld electronic device. The two pale examples have rectangular outlines, internal ribs, central circular details, corner holes and projecting tabs or clips. Those features do not independently demonstrate overmolding, bonded materials, electronics inclusion or compatibility with a particular device.

Relate ribs and clips to the device interface

Provide sections, fixing locations and mating-device geometry from controlled datums. Identify how each tab or clip is intended to engage, with required clearances and any supplied hardware. Keep different component revisions separately referenced rather than assuming that similar example views represent an interchangeable pair.

Define any overmolding as a separate requirement

Choose the actual resin grade and condition for each material region. If overmolding is required, identify the substrate, added material, interface and relevant bonding or retention acceptance. A single-color photograph cannot establish a multi-material construction or prove that an overmolding operation has already been performed.

Accept the molded part for its actual use

Specify drawing tolerances, color reference and matt-surface requirements. Provide operating conditions and suitable functional or environmental acceptance methods where relevant. Electrical approval and completed-device qualification require applicable evidence beyond the component image.

• Agree dimensional and functional acceptance evidence.

Include quantities, individual drawing revisions and controlled geometry with the enquiry. Distinguish the molded component and any requested tooling from electronics, batteries or a complete handheld assembly.
