Describe the plate from its mounting face
The illustrated plate has several slots around a central area, an outer wall, long ribs, raised posts and mounting features. Identify the surfaces that locate it in the assembly, then dimension the slot openings, post heights and fastening positions from those references.
For an ABS or PA66 nylon injection-molding enquiry, provide the selected resin grade and the required surface condition. PP and PC are additional material options in the product information; they should be evaluated for the individual design rather than assigned to the sample by appearance.
Include the mating details
Supply PDF/CAD drawings and an IGES/STEP model where available. Identify clearance around adjacent parts, textured or cosmetic faces and any areas requiring secondary operations. Add quantities and the dimensions to inspect. Use the actual drawing and revision to define the plate, and identify any design change that needs a new tooling review.
