Parallel fins between raised side walls
The black example has a finned center on a flat base with taller walls along the sides. Dimension the fin array and side walls from the base reference face, including the cut length and mounting interfaces.
For an extrusion request, specify the aluminum alloy, temper and profile drawing. The retained sand-casting and CNC process entry does not establish that this example was extruded, so the selected route needs explicit review.
Contact and finish requirements
Mark any holes, machined faces and coating exclusions. Include quantities, black-anodizing requirements and inspection dimensions at the base and walls. State the heat source, airflow and installation conditions if thermal performance must be evaluated; no thermal capacity is verified by the photograph.
