Define the connector-like component through its hollow cylindrical ends and wider angular body region. The three black examples show similar forms from different positions. Their appearance does not establish exact bore or thread dimensions, actual ABS formulation, a supplied set or suitability for electrical or pressure service.
Describe the internal passage and mating ends
Provide sections and actual connection requirements from the adjoining assembly. Locate cylindrical regions, collars and contact surfaces from functional datums. Specify whether ends require threads, plain fits or another connection, and identify any seals, inserts or hardware included in the delivered scope.
Select ABS and compatible surface processing
State the actual resin grade and required condition. Other listed polymers are separate material choices and need their own specifications. Define any polishing, texture, electroplating or painting only where compatible with the selected resin and component purpose, with appropriate appearance and masking requirements.
- Identify each hollow connector and drawing revision.
- Dimension bore, ends, collars and mating contacts.
- Select actual ABS grade and supplied condition.
- Specify compatible finish and included accessories.
- Agree connection checks and application evidence.
Accept the connector in its finished condition
Mark tolerances with units and measurement conditions at the working interfaces. Provide actual service conditions and applicable methods for any pressure, sealing, electrical or environmental requirement. A hollow form alone does not establish a functional rating or current qualification.
PDF/CAD or IGES/STEP geometry provides a listed starting point for the enquiry. Include quantities and required material or inspection records, and agree any additional documentation needed for the actual component.
