Circular covers with offset openings
The examples have circular outer rims, internal curved ribs and offset openings. One includes a raised collar with a visible split. Dimension the opening positions, collar profile and cover edge together so the part can be reviewed against its mating assembly.
- Material choice
- Specify the required ABS or nylon grade for the selected component. PA66, PP, ABS and PC are the material options in the product information; confirm any additional compound requirement with the drawing.
- Finish and inspection
- Identify cosmetic surfaces, texture, color and the dimensions that govern fit. State any secondary-operation requirement without assuming it applies to all samples.
Provide quantities and PDF/CAD drawings, with IGES/STEP geometry where available. Use a drawing number and revision to identify the required item. Include any existing tooling reference and identify revisions to the openings, collar or mating edge before requesting repeat production.
