Parallel fins within a mounting base
The retained example has a rectangular fin array, side mounting regions and fixing openings. Define the base contact face and hole pattern, then dimension the fins and clearances from those references.
High-power LED requirements need operating conditions
Provide the heat-source contact, input conditions, airflow and installation space, with the selected alloy and profile dimensions. The finned shape does not establish a power rating or compatibility with a particular LED.
Include quantities, machining and surface finish, with dimensional and thermal acceptance criteria. Similar examples in the catalog do not independently verify a different size or cooling capacity.
