Double-sided fin arrangement
This aluminum heat sink section has longitudinal fins on both sides of its base, with a broad flat area and visible fixing holes on one face. Its custom extrusion enquiry should define the complete fin and mounting layout for the intended assembly.
What to include with the drawing
- Dimension the base, fins, overall envelope and cut length.
- Locate the mounting holes and identify any thread or machining requirement.
- Show the mating surface and the clearance available around each finned face.
The listed materials include 6063 and 6061 aluminum, with machining available. Specify which alloy and temper are required, and identify the dimensions or contact faces that need inspection. Do not infer thermal performance from the pictured fin count.
Anodizing, oxide finishing and powder coating are listed finish options. State the ordered finish, color and any masking needed around mounting or contact areas. Supply quantities and the drawing revision; agree dimensional acceptance, production scope and the actual schedule in the quotation.
