Side channels alongside a parallel fin field
The example has a row of upright fins above a base with hollow channels at its sides. Define those channels, the base thickness and the outer fin envelope on the section drawing, with the surfaces that engage the surrounding assembly.
For a custom 6063 aluminum extrusion enquiry, specify the alloy temper, cut length and any end holes or secondary-machined features. Identify the heat-source contact area separately from cosmetic faces when stating the finish requirements.
Cooling and installation information
Include the heat-source layout, available airflow and mounting arrangement. Provide the thermal design requirement and quantities, with dimensional inspection criteria for the channel interfaces and contact face.
