This CNC machining example is a compact block with a large front bore, three smaller openings and a profiled side face. The drawing should show how the bore positions relate to the external faces and to any internal or intersecting features.
Specify the complete block
Dimension the outer envelope, bore diameters and depths, center distances and side contour. Identify any threaded features and provide section views where the internal arrangement cannot be defined from the outside. Mark fitted faces and the relevant inspection references.
