Stepped turned features with secondary machining
The illustrated component selection includes slender shafts, shouldered cylindrical pieces and parts with threads, grooves or flats. Quote requests should identify each ordered item separately, including its material and the features required after turning and milling.
For shafts, dimension the diameters, shoulders and overall length. Define thread details, groove positions and any cross holes or milled flats. Include the mating geometry where it establishes fit or alignment.
Aluminum part enquiries
Model 2012 lists aluminum alloy with customized sizes. Anodized, oxide or powder-coated finishes can be assessed for the chosen component; mark fitted surfaces needing protection. PDF, CAD, IGES and STEP drawing formats are listed, with a minimum order of 100 pieces. Provide quantities and revision for each drawing.
