The illustrated covers have recessed circular faces, raised centers around large bores and mounting holes on different bolt circles. Select the cover required and define its bore, recess depth, outer profile and mating-face references.
From casting shape to fitted cover
DM2027 specifies aluminum, custom dimensions and die casting followed by deburring and machining. Mark the bores and faces requiring machining, together with the hole pattern and assembly clearances. Include alloy selection, quantities and the desired paint, powder coating or oxidation finish. Provide the complete drawing and revision for an OEM casting review.
