Separate tooling scope from finished-part requirements
The illustration combines mold tooling with examples of long brackets, a small enclosure, a frame and other plastic components. Identify the finished part you need, then state whether the project includes a new mold, use of existing tooling or molded-part production. The examples do not specify the tool design for every displayed component.
Define the resin and assembly features
For ABS or PC enquiries, give the required resin grade, color and surface appearance. PA66 and PP are also options in the product information, with the selection agreed for the chosen design. Dimension mounting holes, ribs, enclosure openings and any locating features from the part drawing.
Include quantity per component and the measurements to inspect. Use a drawing number and revision to identify the actual part, and include any existing tooling reference when requesting repeat production or a design change.
