Define the LED light-housing component from the actual finned section and mounting arrangement. The example is circular with radial upright fins, a recessed central area, a central opening and raised bosses among the fins. These details do not establish a complete light assembly, actual alloy or tested cooling capacity.
Describe the central region and fin envelope
Provide the overall diameter, depth and the interfaces where the part meets the light assembly. Locate the central opening, bosses and mounting features from the drawing references. Identify the contact surface and the clearance required around the fins, including adjoining components where they affect installation.
- Provide the housing section and assembly drawing.
- Select the actual A380, ADC12 or agreed alloy requirement.
- Locate the contact face, bosses and central opening.
- Define secondary machining, finish and masking.
- State dimensional and thermal acceptance requirements.
Choose alloy and finishing for the design
The A380 and ADC12 references are material directions to confirm against the order, not proof of one sample's composition or a statement that the design uses both. Select the actual grade and material records required for the chosen component. Agree the casting and subsequent deburring or machining operations for that drawing.
Specify treatment and appearance requirements for the selected metal. Mark surfaces where paint, coating or another finish affects assembly, dimensional inspection or thermal contact. A finned metallic image does not independently establish a coating process or its properties.
Provide the actual lighting installation criteria
If cooling performance forms part of acceptance, provide heat load, ambient conditions, airflow and contact arrangement for the complete installation. Radial fins alone are not a measured thermal result. Likewise, a housing component does not establish electrical or environmental approval of a finished light. Confirm whether covers, mounting hardware or other assembly parts are included, with current quantities and documentation. A clear enquiry connects one housing drawing and selected alloy to an inspectable casting, machining and finishing scope.
