A curved central profile between circular flanges
The examples show round components with narrowed central sections, flanged ends and mounting holes. Specify the bore and curved profile from the rotation axis, then dimension the flange thickness and fixing pattern.
State the aluminum or stainless steel grade and required turning or milling operations. If e-coating is required, identify the coating system, cosmetic requirements and any surfaces needing masking; the dark sample color alone does not identify its treatment.
Information for the finished fit
Include the mating components, quantities and drawing revision. Mark the dimensions and surface conditions controlling assembly, with inspection criteria for the bore, flanges and coated interfaces.
