Specify the section before the cut length
The illustrated black profile has a square section, an open slot on each side and a central hole. For 4040, 2040 or 40x40 profile enquiries, identify the exact section drawing and slot geometry. Similar size labels do not establish compatibility with every nut, bracket or accessory system.
Provide the required length, cut-end condition, hole pattern and any tapped features. State the aluminum alloy and temper for the order; 6061 and 6063 are material options in the product information and should be selected for the individual design.
Finish and assembly requirements
Specify the anodized color, surfaces to protect and mating-part requirements. Include quantities and the dimensions that must be checked before packing.
