A curved outer section and several longitudinal fins give this aluminum extrusion a different layout from a flat-base heat sink. The visible center fins and side channels should be defined together on the cross-section drawing for a custom 6061 or 6063 profile enquiry.
Define the curved section
Show the outer contour, wall thickness, fin arrangement and channel openings, together with the required cut length. Where another component fits against the curved surface or between the fins, supply that mating geometry and the dimensions to inspect.
CNC machining is available for features specified on the part drawing. Identify end work, holes or other secondary features separately from the continuous extruded shape. Include the required alloy and temper; 6061 and 6063 are alternatives to select for the project.
Finish requirements and order review
The listed finishing options include anodizing, oxide finishing and powder coating. Choose the required condition and color rather than relying on the dark appearance in the photograph. Send quantities, drawing revision and any operating requirements with the enquiry so the finished profile and production schedule can be agreed.
