Large central opening within a square outer section
The profile shown here has a large round central opening, smaller corner cavities and longitudinal openings in its outer walls. A custom aluminum alloy extrusion enquiry should define these features as a complete section, including the material remaining between the central opening and the outside faces.
Provide the bore and outer dimensions, wall requirements and finished length. Locate any additional CNC features from the faces that control assembly fit. If a mating component passes through the center, include its interface requirements and the dimensions that need inspection.
Alloy and surface choices
6063 and 6061 are listed aluminum options. State the chosen alloy and temper, then specify the required machining and surface condition. Anodized or oxide finishes and powder coating can be reviewed for the intended part; include any painted finish requirement with the color reference.
Send quantities and the drawing revision for quotation. Define bore acceptance, end condition and finish masking where relevant. The section photograph establishes the visible layout, while dimensions and application performance must be agreed for the ordered design.
