Twin-core aluminum profile with continuous slots
This extrusion has a rectangular section with two internal cores and open channels along its outer faces. The section drawing defines how those channels connect to the rest of the assembly. Custom 6063 T5 aluminum profile enquiries should include the required alloy and temper rather than treating every 6000-series option as interchangeable.
Information needed for a profile quotation
- Provide the complete cross-section, wall dimensions, slot openings and cut length.
- Locate any drilled holes or machined end features from clearly marked references.
- Identify mating connectors or other parts that determine the slot fit.
6063 and 6061 are listed material options, with machining available. Anodizing, oxide finishing and powder coating can be reviewed for the chosen alloy and required appearance. Supply the color reference and mark surfaces requiring masking or a controlled finished dimension.
Include quantities, drawing revision and inspection requirements. Agree the selected temper, dimensional acceptance and delivery schedule for the ordered profile before production.
