A stepped base over parallel fins
The profile example has a raised central base area and lower side sections, with fins extending below them. Specify the height changes and the width of each base area, as well as the fin dimensions and cut length.
For a 6063 T5 extrusion enquiry, provide the required alloy and temper on the drawing. Identify the mounting or contact face and any secondary holes, cutouts or machined surfaces needed to connect the profile to its assembly.
Review the whole installation
Include the heat-source footprint, mounting arrangement, airflow conditions and thermal design requirement. State the surface finish and any interface tolerances. Provide quantities and the profile drawing revision so the cross-section and subsequent operations can be assessed together.
