Internal ledges above an underside fin pattern
The open profile example has tall outer sides, ledges running along the interior and fins below its base. Dimension the usable space between the sides and show how the mating component engages the ledges before defining the outer envelope.
For a custom 6063 aluminum extrusion, specify the temper, profile length and any required end machining. State the black anodizing requirement and identify contact surfaces needing separate finish control.
Component fit and cooling information
Provide the assembly arrangement, fixing method, heat-source location and airflow conditions. Include thermal requirements, quantities and a drawing revision with the critical ledge and interface dimensions marked.
