Dense fins beside an extended flat area
The example has a rectangular finned region beside a flat ledge. Define the ledge position, base thickness and fin envelope as one cross-section, with the contact face and mounting references clearly marked.
For a 6061 or 6063 aluminum extrusion enquiry, state the selected alloy and its required temper together, including T5 where specified by the design. Provide cut length, fixing details and any surfaces requiring secondary machining.
Cooling and finishing scope
Include airflow, heat-source geometry and thermal requirements. Specify the finish, quantities and inspection dimensions for the mounting and thermal-contact interfaces, using the current section and part drawings.
