Flat face with curved longitudinal edge features
This aluminum extrusion combines a broad flat upper face with shaped features along both edges, including an open curved channel on one side. The required cross-section should show how these features fit against the neighboring parts in the assembly.
Drawing information to include
- Dimension the flat face, wall thicknesses and the complete edge contours.
- Specify the cut length and any drilled or CNC-machined features.
- Show mating sections and identify the fitted faces that require inspection.
6061 and 6063 aluminum are listed options. State the alloy and temper for the ordered part and the operations needed to produce its finished condition.
Anodized, oxide and powder-coated finishes can be assessed for the requested color. Mark any edge channels or fitted surfaces needing masking. Include quantity and drawing revision so the section, machining and final inspection requirements can be reviewed as one manufacturing enquiry.
