Two longitudinal hollow channels sit beneath the broad upper faces of this aluminum extrusion. A recessed center strip and rows of fixing holes add distinct interfaces to the finished component. Custom 6061 or 6063 profile enquiries should dimension the hollow section and machined features together.
Section, recess and hole pattern
Provide the outer width, channel openings, wall thicknesses and finished length. Show the depth and width of the center recess, then locate each hole from the required inspection references. If the part mates to another plate or frame member, include that interface in the drawing package.
CNC machining is available for the specified holes and other finished features. State the alloy and temper and identify the dimensions that need checking after the required operations. A photograph alone does not define channel dimensions or a standard mounting pattern.
Finish and production enquiry
Choose the required anodized, oxide or powder-coated condition and color. Mark any fitted faces or holes requiring protection during finishing. Include quantities and drawing revision for a quotation covering the extrusion, machining, inspection and finished supply requirements.
