A mounting ledge beside the finned section
The illustrated profile has a flat ledge with a line of holes, an upper group of fins and additional fins below the base. Show the LED assembly footprint and locate the mounting holes and contact area from the same drawing references.
For an aluminum extrusion and CNC-machining enquiry, specify the alloy and temper, full section dimensions and cut length. Identify any threaded holes, machined faces or edge clearances required for the assembly.
Match the profile to the lighting design
Include the thermal design requirement, installation orientation, available airflow and surrounding space. State the required finish and treatment of the contact face. Add quantities and the drawing revision, with inspection requirements for the mounting pattern and surfaces that determine fit.
