Coordinate the recesses with the fin pattern
The illustrated part has many parallel fins with recessed areas interrupting portions of the fin field. Define the size and location of those areas relative to the mounting references, together with the base dimensions and fin envelope.
For a custom aluminum extrusion enquiry, specify the alloy and temper, section length and any machining required to produce the mounting features. Identify the contact face and the dimensions controlling assembly fit.
