Finned plates with machined fixing features
The examples show flat finned sections in several orientations, including mounting holes and smooth contact regions. Identify the required section and define its base, fin geometry and cut length, with the mounting interfaces on the same drawing.
For an aluminum extrusion enquiry, specify the alloy and temper. The retained sand-casting and CNC process entry does not establish the blank-production route for these examples.
Machining and installation details
Mark the faces, bores and threads needing machining, and include any finishing exclusions at thermal contacts. Provide quantities, finish and dimensional inspection criteria. If the profile forms part of an enclosure, define the mating cover or frame separately and state the operating conditions required for thermal review.
