This wide hollow extrusion has a broad outer face, an internal cavity and longitudinal features along both edges. Custom aluminum profile orders should identify the complete section and its mating parts, since a similar outer envelope can conceal a different wall or slot layout.
Section and interface definition
Dimension the internal cavity, wall thickness, edge channels and required cut length. Show how the profile connects to the surrounding assembly and mark which faces establish its fitted position. Locate drilled or machined features from the references used to inspect the finished part.
6063 and 6061 aluminum are listed material options, with machining available. State the selected alloy and temper and any requirements for machined ends or openings. These details form part of the quotation rather than being inferred from the section photograph.
Choose the finished condition
Anodized, oxide and powder-coated finishes are available for consideration. Supply the required color and any dimensional or masking requirements on the side slots. Include quantity and drawing revision so the section, manufacturing scope, inspection criteria and delivery schedule can be reviewed as one order.
