Formed cover with openings and mounting tabs
The illustrated stamping example has a circular formed wall, a raised center opening, elongated top openings and fixing tabs around its perimeter. Its finished drawing should define the formed profile together with the hole locations and mounting surfaces.
Specify the sheet material, thickness, overall depth, center opening and perimeter fixing pattern. Include section views for the formed areas and identify the edges requiring deburring. Show the mating component where it determines clearance or the position of the mounting tabs.
