Coordinate the rectangular base and fin field
The example has a dark rectangular base with parallel fins ending near its edges. Define the contact-face outline, base thickness and fin spacing together, and mark the mounting references relative to the heat source.
Specify the required finished part
State the selected 6000-series aluminum alloy and temper, section length and any machining needed for installation. For black anodizing, identify the required finish and any contact areas that must be masked or controlled separately.
Include the heat-source footprint, airflow and thermal design requirement. Provide quantities and the drawing revision, with the dimensions and surface conditions that need inspection before assembly.
