This heat sink profile has a broad base and a repeated row of straight longitudinal fins. Its cut length, base geometry and fin layout should be defined together for a custom aluminum extrusion enquiry.
Describe the heat sink section
- Show base thickness, overall width and height, and the finished length.
- Dimension fin spacing and identify the contact area on the base.
- Locate any mounting holes, cutouts or end machining on the finished drawing.
6063 and 6061 aluminum are listed options. Specify the ordered alloy and temper and supply any thermal duty, space or airflow constraints for review. The photograph gives the section layout, not a measured cooling capacity.
Machining and supplied surface
Machining is available for drawing-defined features. Anodizing, oxide finishing and powder coating can be considered for the chosen material and color. Mark contact faces or holes needing masking and identify inspection points for the finished component. Include quantities and drawing revision for a quotation covering the extrusion, secondary work and delivery proposal.
