Separate the required plastic component from any tooling enquiry. The composite image shows an exploded multi-plate mold illustration above assorted colored parts, including channels, a box, a rod and a circular form. An illustration does not demonstrate current tool ownership, factory equipment or a particular mold included in the delivery.
Define individual components before the tool scope
Provide a drawing and revision for each required part, identifying interfaces and quantities. Distinguish the example forms from the actual component schedule. If mold making is requested, define tool deliverables, ownership, trials and acceptance separately from production-part supply rather than treating the image as a complete tooling specification.
Select resin and molding requirements per item
ABS, PVC and PP are distinct material directions, with other listed polymers selected separately. State the actual grade, required condition and supporting records. Define color, matt appearance and any cutting or painting individually; an assortment of colors establishes neither a common material nor identical manufacturing requirements.
Accept tooling and molded parts independently
Mark component tolerances with units and final measurement conditions. Specify any functional or environmental acceptance using actual service conditions and applicable methods. Tool acceptance and finished-part inspection should each reference their own agreed deliverables and evidence.
- List individual component drawings and quantities.
- Select exact resin grades and supplied conditions.
- Define any separate mold deliverables and ownership.
- Specify appearance and component-specific tolerances.
- Agree tool trials and finished-part inspection records.
Keep the quotation schedule aligned with those definitions. This allows a component-only proposal to be compared clearly with an order that also includes separately specified tooling.
