Textured bodies with defined mounting ends
The retained examples have cylindrical textured bodies and different end features, including slots and fixing holes. Identify the required end arrangement on a drawing and dimension it from the body axis and locating faces.
State the aluminum or stainless steel grade for the selected component, with the turning and milling features required. For an anodized aluminum version, specify color, texture and finish allowances separately from the treatment required for other metals.
Fit and finishing details
Include the mating hardware, quantities and drawing revision. Mark critical hole or slot dimensions and cosmetic areas, with inspection criteria for the finished mounting interfaces and body dimensions.
