Finned profile with an extended mounting plate
The example combines parallel fins with an exposed base area containing circular openings and fixing holes. Define the finned region and mounting interface together, including the location of each cutout and the surfaces that contact the assembly.
Model S 2301 lists 6063 and 6061 aluminum, customized surface colors, machining, anodized or oxide finishes and powder coating. Specify the alloy, temper, cut length and required finish for your profile. Include drawing datums and quantities for CNC review. For heat sink use, provide the heat source, contact area, airflow and temperature limits so suitability can be assessed for the application.
