The retained example has low parallel fins between outer mounting flanges with fixing features. Dimension the flange positions relative to the contact face and define the required clearance for the mating fasteners and nearby components.
Section and machining requirements
For a 6061 or 6063 aluminum extrusion enquiry, specify the selected alloy and temper, cross-section and cut length. Show any machined holes or end details and identify the required anodizing or other finish.
Include the heat-source interface, airflow and thermal design requirements. Provide quantities and the drawing revision, with inspection dimensions for the flanges, fixing features and contact surface.
